The famous Corver Radio #1
|
 |
|
With this DIY kit, we hope to reach enthousiasts at a
very early stage. This small MW receiver (AM) has a front cover
similar to the famous 'Pupil' receiver from the old days,
that can still be viewed in the museum.
Behind the front panel however, we've tried to create a small
modern radio with a minimum number of components. Soldering is
not required as all components are fitted onto a small wooden
board using screws only!
|
Sales of the Cover Radio #1 have started in 1999 and many radios
have found their way to potential radio amateurs since. Although
they will be out of stock from time to time, due to popular demand,
we intend to have the kit in stock. The radio can be bought in
the museum and on most amateur flea markets (provided that the
meuseum is attending).
